The short version. toolmunch is free and provided as-is. Use it for anything lawful. Check anything important before you rely on it — these are utilities, not professional advice, and we cannot be responsible for what a result is used for.

1. Accepting these terms

By using toolmunch.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. They are offered by toolmunch.

2. What the service is

toolmunch is a collection of 276 free online utilities — PDF, image, media, text, developer, calculation, SEO and AI tools. 196 of them run entirely inside your browser; the rest are served by our API. Most of the site requires no account.

The service is free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any tool at any time without notice. Nothing here is a commitment that a particular tool will keep existing.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use toolmunch to:

break any law, or infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or privacy;
process material you have no right to process;
remove protection from a document you are not authorised to unlock;
generate or spread malware, spam, phishing or deliberately misleading content;
attack, overload or disrupt the site or its API, including by automated bulk requests that degrade it for other people;
attempt to gain access to any part of the system you have not been granted.

We may rate-limit or block access that threatens the service or other users.

4. Your files and your content

What you process stays yours. We claim no ownership over your files, text or output, and we do not use them to train anything.

For the 196 in-browser tools your file is never uploaded at all. For the server-side tools your input is processed and the working copy deleted once the result is returned. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the right to process what you submit, and for keeping your own backups. We do not retain your files, so we cannot recover anything for you.

5. Accounts

A few tools need an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Give us an email address you actually control. We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these terms.

6. AI output

AI tools generate text and images statistically. Output can be wrong, biased, outdated or entirely invented, and it can look completely confident while being none of those things. Check anything you intend to rely on. Do not use AI output as legal, medical, financial or professional advice. You are responsible for what you publish or act on.

7. Accuracy and professional advice

The calculators, converters and analysis tools are provided for convenience. They are not a substitute for professional advice — a tax calculator is not a tax adviser, a health calculator is not a doctor, an SEO checker is not a guarantee about your rankings. Verify anything consequential independently.

8. No warranty

toolmunch is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate. Some tools depend on a free hosting tier that sleeps when idle and can be slow to wake or briefly unavailable.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, toolmunch is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, corrupted files or business interruption, arising out of your use of or inability to use the service — even if we were advised such damages were possible.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Third-party services

Some tools rely on third parties — hosting, an AI model provider, analytics. Their availability and their own terms are outside our control, and we are not responsible for them. Links to external sites are not endorsements.

11. Intellectual property

The toolmunch name, design and site code belong to toolmunch, except where third-party open-source components are used under their own licences. Your use of the site grants you no rights in our branding.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use the site afterwards means you accept the update.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the service.
